About this place
Situated just one or two minutes on foot from the east exit of Hatanodai Station, izakaya Adan offers a relaxed setting for dining and drinks. The yakitori selection covers classics such as negima (chicken and scallion), chicken skin, gizzard, liver, and tsukune meatballs, available as chef's choice platters of five or ten skewers or ordered individually. Special skewered rolls—such as shiso pork wraps, asparagus rolls, and potato wraps—provide appealing alternatives to standard poultry skewers.
Beyond the grill, the kitchen prepares a broad repertoire of small dishes, from lettuce meat rolls to boiled gyoza accompanied by house-made dipping sauce. Notably, the menu also highlights specialties from Amami Oshima, including somen stir-fried with pork and vegetables, alongside regional Amami brown sugar shochu labels such as Lento and Amami.
Heartier options toward the end of the meal include moist kimchi fried rice and okonomiyaki, followed by a dessert of imagawayaki served with ice cream. Accommodations range from counter and table seating on the first floor to second-floor space suitable for group gatherings, with reservations accepted.
